INTERNET SECURITIES, INC. ANNOUNCES INCLUSION OF BOSS PUBLICATION IN ITS EMERGING MARKETS INFORMATION SERVICE.
The world's leading supplier of on-line business information on Emerging Markets, acquires rights to publish Gospodarka Export Import, Rolnictwo and Business News Poland.
Warsaw, June 06, 2000 - Internet Securities, Inc., the pioneering publisher of Internet-delivered emerging markets news and information, today announced the acquisition of the rights to publish 3 titles previously produced by BOSS SP Zoo. The titles include the general economic bulletin Gospodarka Import Export, the Agricultural weekly bulletin Rolnictwo, and the English language Business News Poland.
"We have been working for several years with BOSS as a content provider, distributing industry data from Business News Poland." says Internet Securities Senior Vice President James Hammond. "So when the opportunity arose to acquire rights to these titles, we moved quickly. The high quality editorial these publications produce is exactly the sort of value added sectorial content we seek to provide our institutional clients."
Adds Gary Mueller, CEO of Internet Securities, "We have built a successful business as an aggregator of hard to get information, partnering with prestigious publications around the globe. But we are keenly aware that our ability to grow our business further will depend on being able to deliver information proprietary to Internet Securities. The vitality and originality of our content is ultimately what will differentiate us in the marketplace. These publications, along with our other editorial efforts, will ensure our position as Poland's leading online information resource."
Jan Cipiur, formerly president of the board of BOSS, will move to Internet Securities and continue editorial direction of the publications.
Said Cipiur, "Internet Securities will be a real shot in the arm for these publications. The company's global reach and its technological expertise will allow us to leverage electronic distribution platforms we could never develop ourselves. At the same time, Internet Securities will be getting three of the most respected business publications in Poland, as well as a good number of the journalists and analysts that have made Boss a household name for professionals in Poland. It's a highly synergistic relationship."
Gospodarka Export Import, Rolnictwo and Business News Poland will continue to be distributed to existing subscribers in print and electronic form. They will be available online to subscribers of the Internet Securities Emerging Markets Information Service.
