CEIC Data’s India Premium
Database Now Available Through Haver Analytics
New York, NY, January 7th, 2009 – CEIC Data Company
Ltd (a subsidiary of ISI Emerging Markets) and Haver Analytics, Inc., today
announced the availability of CEIC’s India Premium Database to users of
Haver’s DLX software.
The
data is accessible via an additional subscription, marking an extension of the
2005 distribution agreement between the companies for CEIC’s China
Premium Database. The India and China databases are available to Haver
subscribers in North America and Europe.
The
CEIC India Premium Database is the definitive source for Indian macroeconomic
and industry sector time series, consisting of over 116,000 series dating back
to 1951 and beyond, and covering 13 industries and 12 economic categories.
The
industry sectors comprise: Agriculture; Automobile; Banking; Cement; Chemical
and Petrochemical; Energy; Insurance; Metal and Steel; Mining and
Manufacturing; Pharmaceutical; Textile; Tourism; and Transportation, Post and
Telecom.
The
economic categories cover: National Accounts; Government and Public Finance;
Demographic
and Labour Market; Domestic Trade and Household Survey; Foreign Trade and
Balance of Payments; Investment; Construction and Property; Monetary; Interest
and Foreign Exchange Rates; Inflation; Price; and Financial Market.
