| ISI EMERGING MARKETS EXTENDS GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE OF ITS CEIC DATA SUBSIDIARY: TIME SERIES DATA FROM EASTERN EUROPE, LATIN AMERICA AND NORTH AMERICA ON A NEW EXCEL PLATFORM
New York, October 4, 2006 - CEIC Data, a subsidiary of ISI Emerging Markets, today extended and increased its geographic reach by releasing hundreds of thousands of Emerging Market time series. The release of this new data coincides with the introduction of an Excel based platform for its use and manipulation, the CEIC Data Manager. A key enhancement includes powerful search technology designed to facilitate navigation through more than 800,000 emerging market time series. With this release, the total number of countries covered by ISI CEIC data’s time series databases now stands at 51, with further countries slated to be added in the near future.
