ISI EMERGING MARKETS EXPANDS ASIA COVERAGE
Comprehensive Information Covering Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam Now Available Through ISI Emerging Markets
New York, NY, April 01, 2004 - Internet Securities, Inc., (trading as ISI Emerging Markets), the pioneering publisher of Internet-delivered emerging markets news and information, today announced expanded coverage of its Asia region with the launch of products for 3 additional countries. The new products provide financial news, company and industry information as well as macroeconomics from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. These new services bring the company's coverage to over 55 countries, further enhancing its ability to deliver reliable information through the Internet from the world's most dynamic, fastest-growing markets.
James R. Hammond, Internet Securities' Executive Vice President, noted that "Economist have been optimistic for the region, predicting continued GDP growth upward of 5% in 2004. Correspondingly, our financial and multinational corporate customers have been asking us for additional country coverage in Indochina. We've been working on these products for close to two years and we're excited about bringing them to market at such a timely juncture."
Adds Aloisio Parente, Regional Manager for Asia for ISI Emerging Markets, "There are few places to go for reliable business information on these markets. This is exactly the sort of challenge that appeals to our product team. After two years of research and development, we're proud to launch what we believe is the most comprehensive resource of its kind for Indochina. These new products are an indispensable tool for anyone looking to do business in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos."
As with all ISI Emerging Markets products, these new country products include selected content from distinguished publishers such as the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), as well as publications from Euromoney PLC, and over 200 locally and regionally produced information sources including the Vietnam Economic Times, Vietnam Panorama, Phnom Penh Post, and Vientiane News.
