The subject engages in manufacturing garment products. It has had investment in 3 subsidiaries, including: - Vinatex International Fabric Company Limited (100%) - focuses on manufacturing knitting fabric, woven fabric, and denim. - VTJ Toms Textile And Garment Company Limited (60%) - is a Joint Venture Agreement between the company and Toms Co.,Ltd (Japanese partner) in order to establish a new company for implementation of the complex project Textile – Dye – Garment in Quang Tri Province. - PPJ - Hue Textile Garment Company Limited (100%) - established a knitting factory in Thua Thien Hue Province. On July 11, 2023, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy of Hoan Tat Garment Factory project, and also approved the investor named VTJ Toms Textile And Garment Company Limited (its subsidiary). The project will be implemented at “Dien Sanh Industrial Cluster, Dien Sanh Town, Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province, Vietnam” with a land area of 4,915 m2. Of which, the construction land area is 3,081 m2, the working land area is 854 m2. The project's design capacity is 12 million products clothes /year.2023 is a difficult year when most forecasts about the world economy, financial markets, and currencies tend to be negative. In particular, for the textile and garment industry, it is forecast that global demand will only grow from 2.5 to 4% - a low growth rate compared to previous years. The main export markets of Vietnam's textiles and garments also tend to decrease, especially the EU and China markets. In reality, world textile and garment demand has not yet recovered due to slow purchasing power in major garment consuming markets USA and EU.
