The subject - Vinacow - is a wholly subsidiary of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - Vinamilk. The main activity of Vinacow is to build and develop Vinamilk's system of dairy farms, helping Vinamilk to be proactive in raw materials for industrial production. As of February 2023, Vinacow has 13 farms with a total herd of 34,500 cows. In particular, in Lam Dong Province, this company has two farms that have been certified by Control Union (Netherlands) to EU Organic standards since 2016, which is also Vietnam's first European organic standard farm (one farm in Lam Dong Province, Don Duong District and one farm in Di Linh District). These two farms have a total area of about 135 hectares, with a total herd of 1,000 dairy cows. Vinamilk's organic dairy farm absolutely does not use chemicals, synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, food additives as well as other supporting and stimulating substances. Its farm also absolutely does not use genetically modified substances. Raw organic milk from these farm is completely free of antibiotic residues and growth hormones.
