The subject has become a subsidiary of SCG CEMENT - BUILDING MATERIALS CO., LTD - a Thai manufacturer of construction materials since 2017. Its main activity is to manufacture and supply cement and clinker. The majority of output is domestically consumed, and it exports a small amount to Bangladesh, Malaysia, and the Philippines. In the 2018-2019 period, the subject's operation and business results were so impressive after becoming a member of SCG Group. However, due to the negative impact of the COVID pandemic as well as the post-COVID economic recession, business activity had a slowdown, noticeably, it suffered a high loss of VND 93.2 billion last year mainly due to an increase in the costs of goods sold. Periodic monitoring is advised in credit transactions with it presently.
