Toyota Tsusho Vietnam Company Limited (Vietnam)

Officially established in late 2008, the subject is a general trading company in Vietnam owned by TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION. It provides types of automobile spare parts and accessories, plastic resin, chemicals, and steel. Products are mainly imported from the parent company and other members in the Group, then provided to domestic clients, mostly units in export processing and industrial zones in Vietnam (Toyoda Gosei Hai Phong, Toyota Boshoku, Toyota Motor Vietnam, Aureole, Icam, Muto Technology, ...) as a revelation from the female Chief Accountant. In addition, it directly exports an amount (around 10%) to international markets such as China, Japan, Indonesia, the USA, etc. In an interview with the Chief Accountant, we are also shared that the post-COVID economic recession has caused difficulties in many sectors, especially the auto industry. The purchasing power has decreased, making the auto production have to cut down. Therefore, the aspect of automobile spare part supply of the subject company has had a slowdown recently. For FYE 31 Mar 2023, it recorded a depression in both revenue and net income over the previous year. Up to now, the turnover is estimated to continue decreasing by around 20% mainly because of a decline in automobile spare part trade, added the Chief Accountant.Generally, the subject is assessed as a prestigious name in the industry. It also receives meaningful support from the parent company in the operation.
