Being founded in 2016, the subject (HTMV) is specialized in manufacturing and assembling cars of the HYUNDAI brand. Its output products are supplied to the local market. The subject mostly imports car parts and engines overseas, from India, South Korea, China, Singapore, Indonesia, UK…As introduced, HTMV is considered as a joint venture between THANH CONG GROUP (Vietnamese partner) and HYUNDAI MOTOR GROUP (South Korea partner). THANH CONG GROUP JOINT STOCK COMPANY transferred its factory in Ninh Binh Province to the subject in the last quarter of 2017. As Mass media, the first Hyundai Thanh Cong Motor Vietnam Plant (HTMV 1 Plant) had a production capacity of 70,000 cars per year.Especially, in Sep 2020, the subject started building the second Hyundai Thanh Cong Motor Vietnam Plant (HTMV 2 Plant). The firm held the inauguration of factory No. 2 on November 15, 2022.HTMV2 factory was built on a total area of more than 50ha, factory area of 87,000m2, length of test track 1.5km (1,503m), with a total design capacity of 100,000 vehicles/year, combined with factory No. 1 will increase the total capacity of Hyundai vehicles manufactured by 2025 to 180,000 vehicles/year.
