Dragon Waves Frozen Food Factory Company Limited (Vietnam)

Found in 2005, SC is known as a large company in the field of processing frozen fish to export. 95% of the subject's products are exported to the EU. Before 2020, business result increased stably through years.  To 2020 due to effects of the outbreak of Covid-19, the subject's sales dropped markedly compared to 2019. After the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) took effect, the growth rate of Vietnam's seafood exports to the EU increased again. In the first 6 months of 2021, the total fishery output is estimated at 4.1 million tons, up 3% over the same period in 2020, of which the fishing output reached 2 million tons (up 1%), aquaculture production was 2 million tons (up 1%). Aquaculture reached 2.1 million tons (up 4%). Total seafood export turnover in the first 6 months was estimated at US$ 4 billion, up 13.6% over the same period and reaching 47.1% of the plan. This is a good signal, showing a rosy future of this industry. SC is expected to overcome difficulties in the previous year to get a better result in 2021.
