CAO SON COAL JOINT STOCK COMPANY was officially established on 05 Aug 2020 based on merging two companies: VINACOMIN CAO SON COAL JOINT STOCK COMPANY and TAY NAM DA MAI JOINT STOCK COAL COMPANY - VINACOMIN, which were two members of VIETNAM NATIONAL COAL AND MINERAL INDUSTRIES HOLDING CORPORATION LIMITED (shortly VINACOMIN).It is known that VINACOMIN CAO SON COAL JOINT STOCK COMPANY originally started in 1974 as a State owned enterprise that had been equitized since 2008. Before merging, its stocks (symbol: TCS) had been listed on Ha Noi Stock Exchange, and it delisted since 18 Sep 2020.Another company, TAY NAM DA MAI JOINT STOCK COAL COMPANY - VINACOMIN also participated in mining, processing and trading coal as the first one. Since 18 Sep 2020, it had cancelled trading its stock (symbol: TND) on UpCOM market.According to announcement, the new legal entity after merging - CAO SON COAL JOINT STOCK COMPANY inherits all of labor force and business activity of two merged companies. It is operating under Business Registration No. 5702053837, granted by Quang Ninh Department of Planning and Investment with charter capital of VND 428,467,730,000. VINACOMIN is till parent company here with 65% shareholding.
