At present, the subject is operating with Establishment and Operation License No. 16 GP/KDBH.2021 marked a strong growth of life insurance industry with total insurance premium reaching over VND 123,592 billion, an increase by 23.4% compared to 2020. The market had 18 active life insurance companies. The market share mainly belonged to big companies such as Manulife (24.1%), Bao Viet (12.8%), Prudential (12.7%), Dai-ichi (12.2%), AIA (8.1%), MB Ageas (7.3%).
