OFZ, a.s. is the Central European manufacturer of ferroalloys. The history of the company is dated back to the year 1952, when first ferroalloys were manufactured in Slovakia. Today, the company manufactures a wide range of ferroalloys on the basis of manganese and silicon. Its manufacturing program also includes by-products from furnace dust and slag - products for the building industry. OFZ, a. s. is located centrally in relation to the metallurgical centres of Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
