Melati Ehsan Holdings Berhad operates an investment holding company. The principal activities of the subsidiary companies are turnkey contractor, property developer, trading of construction materials and rental of machineries. The company is principally involved in investment holding with two wholly-owned subsidiaries which are turnkey contractors providing 'complete planning, design, engineering, procurement, construction and start -up of a construction project for a fixed price and often includes a financing component. The subsidiaries include Bayu Melati Sdn Bhd (BMSB) and Pembinaan Kery Sdn Bhd (KERY) both wholly-owned subsidiaries. Kery is a Class 'A' contractor since 2003. Both subsidiaries are registered Class G7 contractors with the CIDB which enables the two companies to tender for government and private projects of any size and amount. Most of its construction work is undertaken by a pool of reliable sub-contractors that include Brem Holdings, Ho Hup Construction, Suhati, Istimewa Teguh and Tropical Profile Sdn Bhd. The company was incorporated in 2004 and is based in Kuala Lumpur .
