Cocoaland Holdings Berhad (Malaysia)

Cocoaland Holdings Berhad is a Malaysian company located in Rawang, Selangor. It was incorporated on 6 June 2000 and listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 18 January 2005, later converting to the Main Board on 18 July 2006. The company's history began with two brothers selling deep-fried snacks and banana fritters in the Klang Valley. They expanded their business activities and formed Mite Food Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. in 1980 as a manufacturer and distributor. In the mid-1980s, the company identified a market opportunity for polytubed drinks and started exporting to the Middle East. LB Food Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 23 January 1984 as the primary trading arm for distributing processed and preserved foods and fruit locally and overseas. Cocoaland Industry Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 22 August 1990 as the principal manufacturing arm of the Group. Cocoaland Holdings Berhad has five subsidiaries and is managed by a few siblings. The company is a leading manufacturer of sugar confectionery products in Malaysia, including fruit gummy, candies, chocolate, wafers, and snacks. They have expanded their business to include beverages since 2010. Cocoaland products are distributed in Malaysia, as well as in South East Asia, Middle East, East Asia, North America, and Europe.
