Polish juice and wine producer Warwin is interested in takeovers of firms producing concentrated fruit juices, the CEO of the firm told EMIS.
"We are interested in takeovers in the fruit and vegetable sector, of firms producing thickened fruit juices," Tomasz Iżewski said. He added that a potential takeover could help Warwin strengthen its market position and production capacity.
Iżewski said that Warwin is targeting producers with book value of between PLN 15-25mn.
The firm already has financing for the potential takeovers, the executive explained and added that Warwin has no plans of entering the Warsaw Stock Exchange or getting an outside investor.
Warwin specialises in the production of fruit and concentrate juices and fruit-based alcoholic beverages, especially wine and fruit ciders.
Warwin recorded a revenue of PLN 70.05mn and a net profit of PLN 2.2mn in 2013.
