Schneider Electric DMS NS, а joint venture between energy management and solutions provider Schneider Electric and Serbian company DMS Group, is looking for acquisition opportunities to support its ambitious expansion plans, the company's CEO told EMIS.
“We are considering growth both through acquisitions and organically. Schneider Electric, our parent company, plans to buy companies for the purposes of our business and we plan to buy several small companies in Serbia," Dragan Popovic said in an interview.
The company, which employs 900 people in Serbia, posted average revenues of EUR 12mn in the last three years and expects them to exceed EUR 20mn in 2015.
"We are growing at a fast pace and we need to make acquisitions, most probably this year," the executive noted.
Schneider Electric DMS NS is looking at several potential acquisition targets.
The company also remains open to financial investors. "We are open to financial investors, we need tailwind. Schneider Electric is investing, but we believe we could grow even faster, if we invested as well," Popovic explained.
Schneider Electric DMS NS is an IT company for research, development and engineering in the field of the electrical power engineering management software. The Schneider Electric DMS Software is in operation in over 50 companies and over 130 dispatching control centres worldwide.
