| ŽITKO a.d., with its headquarters in Backa Topola was founded in 1948, by joining eight smaller mills in the Backa Topola district. In late 2003, after privatisation process, Žitko became part of Verano Group. Today, Žitko a.d. Žitko has three mills with a total production capacity of around 120,000 tonnes per year, pasta foods factory with a capacity of around 7,500 tonnes per year, silos for the grain storage with the capacity of 96,500 tonnes. |
