| Kovohuty, a.s. was established in 2000 and presently it is the producer of technical-purity copper in Slovakia. The main mission of the company is to effectively recover the copper from the secondary scrap materials, and their restoration to the production cycle. In 2002 Montanwerke Brixlegg AG acquired the majority share, currently holding 100% of shares. In 2004 the two companies were incorporated in the Austrian industrial group A-TEC Industries AG.
