1844 – year the company was founded as manufacturer of candles and soap under the name: United Oil and Soap Factories SA. 1923 – Eugen Farber founded United Lacquers and Paints Factory, moment marking the beginning of the paints production. 1942 – start of synthetic resins production. 1948 – the factory was nationalized entering into the property of the state. 1967 – the NITRO plant started to operate as consequence of the development of Romanian furniture industry. |
