Macedonian commercial bank Sparkasse Bank Makedonija was established in 1992 under the name Investbanka. In 2008, Austrian Steiermarkische Bank and Sparkassen AG acquired a 99% stake in Investbanka. In April 2010, the bank changed its name to Sparkasse Bank Makedonija. The Skopje-based lender offers retail and commercial banking, wholesale banking products and services as well as a range of capital markets and investment banking services. Sparkasse Bank Makedonija attends its clients through a network of over 30 branch offices nationwide.
