Lek DOOEL Skopje is a subsidiary of the Slovenian drug producer Lek, which is a part of Sandoz Group. Lek DOOEL Skopje was set up in 1991. It specializes in marketing and sale of Lek's pharmaceutical products. In 2000 Lek opened a business centre in Skopje, which meets the needs of the South-Eastern European market. Except for the sale and marketing department, the new modern facility has a production unit, where Lek's most recently developed and self-medication drugs are produced. They are sold at the domestic market as well as exported to the neighbouring countries. The investment of the Slovenian company in the 2,551 sq. m new business centre is SIT 674 million.
