DS Smith AD Skopje is a leading paper and cardboard producer in Macedonia. The company's core activity is production of stickers, paper bags and cardboard. Its production program includes: packaging papers, solid boards, bags, sacks, corrugated boards, box boards, flexible packaging and hand made paper. Average production capacity is 9.000 tons of packaging paper, 3.000 tons of stickers and 18.000 tons wavy stickers. DS Smith AD Skopje is export oriented. Its most important markets are the Former Yuguslav Republics with about one third of export sales, followed by Slovenia, Bulgaria and Greece. The transformation process of the company's capital begun in 1991 and was fully completed in 1996 when was 100% privatized.
