Cementarnica USJE AD (North Macedonia)

Cementarnica USJE AD is the only cement producer in Macedonia. It is located in the immediate surrounding of the capital of Republic of Macedonia - Skopje covering an area of about 400.000 sq. m. - a site with deposits of raw materials for production of cement. USJE Cement Factory produces a wide assortment of products for construction needs: cement and usjemal; asbestos-cement products; usjepor; separated sand; crushed limestone; mined rock; timber pallets. Cementamica USJE has sales of 650,000 tonnes of cement annually and capacity of one million tonnes and can satisfy the needs of Republic of Macedonia and the region beyond (South Serbia and Kosovo).
One of the biggest world producers of cement, the Swiss company Holderbank and the biggest cement producer in Greece Titan embarked on a joint venture to purchase 95% of the shares of Usje. The total amount paid for the stocks buy-up is EUR 25.7 million.
