| Hindustan Shipyard Ltd is located in the picturesque port city of Visakhapatnam on the East coast of India. The shipyard is easily accessible by direct air, sea, rail and road connections from India and Abroad. The foundation stone of the shipyard was laid on June 22, 1941 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad who later became the first President of India. Today, HSL is a fully owned Government of India Undertaking under the Administrative control of the Ministry of Defence |
