| In November 1970, the Cooperativa Agropecuária Mourãoense Ltda. - Coamo - was founded to develop the regional agriculture in Paraná. Today, Coamo and its cooperated members are present in over 53 cities in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Mato Grosso do Sul. The company receives around 3.3% of all grains and fibers national production and 14% of the Paranás. In Brazil, calls itself one of the largest agricultural cooperatives. |
