Euratek, which was established in 1992, is the official importer of Czech Skoda Auto, which is owned by German carmaker Volkswagen AG. In April 2005, the firm opened a EUR 1.3 million sales and repair centre in the Black Sea port of Varna. As of end-2006, the company's sales network included 11 representation offices throughout Bulgaria. Euratek sold 2,543 vehicles in 2005, which gave it a 7.61% share of the local market.
