Seament Albania was set up in 1994 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lebanese cement trading company Seament Holding. Seament Albania is specialized in the import and trade of cement.
In March 1999, it acquired 70% stake in both state enterprises Elbasan Cement Factory and United Quarries. In 1999, it raised its stake to 77% in Elbasan Cement Factory and 86% in United Quarries.
The company is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tirana and the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania.
